The facts:
Ken Burns proved that 2% of the American population died in the civil war. (600,000 carcasses) The carcasses were found in diverse locations. The war was fought in varied places of America. (10,000 places all around America) The economy was touched; money was harder to gain.
Veterans of the Civil War would be respected through the whole country. The oldest veteran who ever lived was around 115 years old.
Abraham Lincoln was recognized as the greatest President that the United States has ever had. He was a leading figure of the U.S. He was a great abolitionist, and was model for some abolitionists.
Abolitionists weren’t a superior political party, but they had leading ideas in their party. The most famous female abolitionist was Harriet Tubman, who served a spy for the government, but also as a nurse, and saved many lives in the civil war.
Nat Turner led the Nat Turner revolution after himself. Rebel slaves for equal rights leaded this revolution for all. These slaves killed 55 white people, the highest number of killed in the South.
